Run For GOLD 2012

A charity event to support GOLD (Generating Opportunity for Learning Disables) 

organised by the SUBS Student Concilium. 

I have always plan to join a charity run but failed too several reasons mainly the location cos I have not transport! this time was lucky thanks to Michelle for fetching me or else so early no cabs and dangerous. Second, no partner to go hehe! So we all decided to go cos of the tweets conversations between Michelle and Carol so I barge in and started to convince a bit and finally all decided to join. To my surprise Sarah and Hannah also join haha! 

In my opinion, it was indeed a very successful event, why le?

Not to simply say that but it was due to the fact I can see so many generations of human beings such as

Also there are RedBull and Milo Vans but I didn't take any cos one it was a gas drink and second Milo will be too sweet for me.

I do not drink anything that has gas but I drink Milo or any chocolate drink la! 

Only idiots who don't drink I guess (don't be offended if my readers don't drink hehe!)

Look at the amount of $$ raised, proven that it was a successful ones. They targeted 1k people to participate but it was beyond that as RM20 per person. Congrats SUBS :)

After the event, obviously time to fill our stomach so Sushi Zanmai was our choice.

but before that I had nasi lemak with chicken already, fat die me ahahah!

We were too early so had to queue like 45 to 60 mins, too tired to walk around and kill time lol!

Awesomeness, I had two plates of salmon and a plate of mackerel yumz!

PS: I accidentally deleted my whole picasa web album and no restored! Then all those blog pictures related to it, also removed :( so I had to go each posts and uploaded the photos again. Sigh! but my hardwork has done, took me 1.5 days tsk tsk! It happened cos I wanted to update my blog then a box pop up saying that I have used up the storage so I was obviously too smart to delete the albums thinking that it might help me! indeed a terrible decision trolol!

tears in pains

I can't make the pain goes away completely so 

let say I would have at least once a year some moments to myself...

without any thoughts

As though I am writing a poem but currently I am emotionally unstable without any reasons

I adore how it lets people share explicable or inexplicable photos

the last pin was a reminder to myself, I always think that way too in case one day I have forgotten this.

HOWEY

Since I was in Medan, of cos having five to six meals a day are totally nothing to surprise at all.

Outcomes that I always come to my mind are Fcuk how much calories those shits weigh and

how many gym sessions do I have to go in order to burn those calories and fats.

but...

Honestly, eat and enjoy every single moment while you can ♥

Treasure it like there is no tomorrow (Anyway 2012 is ending, maybe there is no chance any more)

The moment those awesome meals enter your mouth, it feels amazing.

Forget those fats or calories for a moment at least till your meal is done.

Hop on HOWEY pastries shop if you are in Medan

Get a taste on its macarons,

It's good and bigger than La Maison's but price is slightly higher and taste much sweeter.

Personally I don't like it too sweet, if the level or sweetness were to decrease then I would opt for HOWEY and ditch La Maison lolol!

Overall, the cakes are so much better than La Maison, read my preview here. 

Except the freshness of fruits and the sweetness level on its macarons only.

If those exceptions are settled then it would be so yummz!

Bubbaaaa Gump

The reason behind having dinner at Bubba Gump was due to the recent promotion they had through Groupon. Purchased RM50 coupon for foods worth RM100 and I had additional discount voucher from Groupon which I used for this, in the end I paid RM40 only :)

 Alabama Wings RM21.90 

Shrimp Dynamite RM22.90

Stuffed Shrimp RM43.90

Previous Stuffed Shrimp tasted better than this one but others like this one as well. 

I still prefer the old one, please revamp back haha!

BBQ Ribs RM43.90

Personally I'm not a steak/ribs fans so its only average to me, no heart :)

Cookie Sundae RM15.90

A must to try or eat whenever you step into Bubba Gump, 

trust me you will regret only after you eat coz of FATS!! haha!

We were upset because we ordered a bottomless drink but they charged us double cos some of us took few sips! Dayumm brainless waiter, close one eye la tsk tsk tsk! 

Also please state such rule in the menu at least, customer does not such rules applied grr!

Total bill was up to RM202.20 for 3 persons trololol! but after using Groupon voucher, it became RM102.20 hehe! Hope Groupon will bring such awesome stuff again so I can always be a happy kid!!

Trattoria Medan

Apparently, it was a hipstar Italian restaurant that has franchises in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

So I gave it a try and unfortunately not up to my taste buds and pretty expensive lolol! 

The bill was like IDR700rb (approximately RM230), also there is another plate of squid ink spaghetti that I forgot to take photo of hehe!

The créme brulé was quite watery and too sweet :( 

Overall it was just ♥ ♥ out of five hmmph!
