KK day 3 & 4

As promise to blog about KK day 3 and 4 after coming back from Jakarta :)
Day 3 begins with Monsopiad Cultural Village, a place to learn and understand the Sabahan culture.

The guy explained to us about the several rituals performed  which depending on the illness of a person in those days. The purpose of these rituals were to save a soul. Below the second pictures, the white things hanging on top were the skulls of some animals that were given up to save the souls.

There were some cultural shows as well.

Next stop, Lok Kawi Wildlife Park

Then moved on to Chocolate boutique which in the end we didn't buy any cos it was too expensive. I like these dark choc with a coffee seeds in the middle, but others think of the $$. Instead I went to a supermarket, got a cheaper alternative at half the price, I was a happy kid by then :p

Next moving on to a seafood shop but didn't manage to take picture of it. Nic bought lots of frozen seafoods, it was packed nicely and deliver to the hotel lobby the next morning.

***
Dinner: Welcome Seafood, not as good as our first day :( Although there are lots of people, but the foods are quite disappointing, sad case sigh!

 ***
Day 4: time to leave the Wonderful Sabah :(
Morning starts with a heavy breakfast lol!

Then rush back to hotel for final packing cos we told the taxi driver that we would visit Tanjung Aru Beach before off to KKIA :) It turns out to be so pretty, our last shots in KK hehe!

The Taxi Driver kept saying that he was a runner, so I asked the rest to post like they are running
(running man wannabe  lol)

Kota Kinabalu D-2

Hello August!
KK Day 2 journey begins....
Just to watch sunrise, we had to wake up so bloody early! guess what, I was the one who woke everyone up proud proud lol! surprisingly I slept before 12 every nights there, that's how I developed my 10.30pm sleeping pattern :)

Didn't know that we had to do some jungle trekking to reach the top! damn! at 5am, all the tourist zombies started to climb these mysterious stairs :(

After 20-30 mins of climbing, finally we reached the Signal Hill Observatory Tower :)

The sleepy heads

When it's getting brighter and brighter but the sun was too shy :(
Acting cute ( loving the rainbow colours)
Typical Monkey Tourist!
Happy Uni friends despite the cultural difference :)

Being there we met few people doing some exercises. Met these two ladies that we asked her to take a group pics for us also to introduce us some good foods. In return I took a polaroid of them and gave it to them :)
Then met an uncle who happened to be a taxi driver, he made some $$ cos of us tsk tsk! but he is very nice, in fact Sabahan are really friendly and kind :)

***
Breakkie time :)
This is the one that introduced by the two awesome ladies but b4 that show this tourist the way back to hotel cos sanyu doesn't really take heavy breakfast. The tourist didn't really know how to cross so the two of us need to bring her across the street haha!

Tadahh our brekkie shop

All shops are walking distance from our hotel teehee! we had breakfast in this shop for two consecutive days

***
Off to Jesselton so that we could go for island hopping, we only went to 3 islands, Mamutik, Manukan and Sapi islands. The Manukan is totally failure although its a must visit island tsk tsk! The best one is Sapi then Mamutik :)

On the way to Jesselton, saw this creative graffiti!

Being there we just had to carry umbrellas everywhere we went, being Sonia, she would carry both of them which make her looks like those auntie2 who wants to go to pasar! so I asked Nic to help her carry, one refused to help and the other one refused to give tsk tsk.. so I had to snatched from her and become my tongkat! Haha!

@Jesselton
After some discussions, we decided to take a small ferry on our own so we can take our own sweet time :)

Everyone is just enjoying the strong wind also the salty sea water damn! I couldn't open my mouth for a while cos I didn't want to swallow the salty water! haha! but during snorkelling, I had no choice but to swallow some gahh!
Struggled to reach another point

All the silly expressions I had being captured, all was candid except the cold one, I was really cold la cos waited for them so that we can go in together and reach the point. In the middle of the sea, the matter of life and death arises cos of the snorkelling equipments, the current, the waves, the jellyfish and the naughty fishes that bites our legs. It was scary and at the same time it was fun cos not all the time that we went together. At times I went by myself then Jen Chong also by himself, mostly Nic would stay with Sanyu. In case you are wondering what bout Sonia? don't worry we didn't leave her behind just that she didn't go to the deep sea, she just went to the shallow ones only :)

The lunch! buns from the nearby shops, we had it for 3 days continuously except the last day, we even bring to the islands

While they were camwhore-ing, I budged in to show my phone so that the lengzai would be in the picture with us but epic failure haha!

We ended our island hopping in Sapi, save the best for the last although we didn't know its the clearest sea and many fishes island :) Oh yeah try to spot Sonia carrying both umbrellas again haha!

***
Reached hotel, bathed and dropped dead till 8pm! Then dinner with bak kut teh, the liver damn awesome slrup! the last night I purposely bought the liver and soup so that I can have it as my supper but I couldn't finish all and dropped dead d zzz!

The way they served their bak kut teh is totally different from how KL and Klang served theirs. All separated into small bowls

Cos Sanyu doesn't like to eat bak kut teh so me, Nic and her went to pizza hut to dabao some wings and a small pizza back to hotel afterwards. Came out from pizza hut, saw a live bar beside so we decided to go in and have few drinks before back to hotel haha!

Then the night went on with Sonia watching hindi movie till one, me and Sanyu dropped before that but I was earlier and the boys went back around 11pm.

Btw, off to watch the final match of badminton men singles in half an hour :)
I can accept the fact that Lin Dan being lansi and win but I can't accept if Chong Wei being lansi haha! face probs lol! Sorry Malaysia, I'm not with you this time ;p
