the dark knight rises

Spending my weekend by watching women basketball Olympics 2012 between China & Czech Republic. It was a good game, made me want to play again back on those days. I will make sure that one fine day I will be in the court watching matches! sighh its been way too long :(

Back to the title, watched The Dark Knight Rises last friday on Imax 2D! The first time Imax 2D was out, it costed a bomb, now its like half of it already :) Dark knight was awesome despite the long hours. I was expecting that I would fall asleep cos I have been sleeping at 10.30pm yet I wasn't! I stayed up till it ended :)

I'm too lazy to edit pics for KK D-2! but trust me its on progress now hehe!

Sneak peak for D-2 :)

Kota Kinabalu Day 1

Beware, its a really long posts but don't run away, you will enjoy hehehe! Just see pictures and skip the reading lo :)

The tourists: Sonia, Sanyu, Nic, Jen Chong & me :)

Being tourists, we did what we had to do as though we were studying for exam lol. Jen came with his Sabah map, then the three of them were discussing on the itinerary. They discussed earlier in McD while I was checking in the luggages. Oh yea, I was being sakai, I had four McD hash browns that day! Ok la, I would never wake up that early just to eat McD hash-browns so that was my first time to try theirs other than the school cafĂ© one lo! Nah, the picture on us being so touristy sakai in waiting room:

You would only take pics of the air plane when you travel in group if only you are travelling alone, I can condamnfirm only 10% human being would do such thing. i.e. me such a loser right, for god knows how many years I have been travelling with Airasia yet I have never done such things lol!

Seriously after years of travelling with Airasia, again my first time to try their signature of Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak, it was a bit salty but the rendang is good lo!

Lucky day, the CEO of Airasia Group in the same flight with us to watch QPR match at Likas Stadium. I noticed him while I was entering the plane yet I wasn't so sure, told Sonia bout it but she doesn't really into hearing me kns! then halfway the flight they woke me up cos so excited to see him zzz! He went rows by rows to greet and shake hands with all the passengers and finally our turn, also camho request from Nic. Unfortunately Jen wasn't sitting nearby us so yeah sorry Jen :(

In order to take pics with my lengzai, I sacrifice these people! lolol! sorry lo for that, but I really thank y'all or else I wouldn't have any pics with him and being sad n emo lol! jk! hahah! we could take this becos earlier in order for my neighbour to take pic with the CEO, I moved to the seat beside the lady in black suit. I wasn't suppose to take pic with the CEO one, cos me so ugly just woke up! then Nic asked for it, this explains the ugly pic above lol! After I moved to that seat, Nic and Sonia were talking to the lady as though they knew her for zillion years already zzz! They asked her bout where to eat, what to do etc cos she is a Sabahan! She is on board to observe the service quality of the flight attendants. Got one Chinese lady flight attendant with cb face, people complaint about her to the this lady in black suit! lolol! She had cb face cos when I requested for things, she sort of rude la but I wasn't the one who complaint eh!

The above pic was taken by the lengzai, ngam ngam he passed by. Then I just approached to request for a pic with him so voila! the pic is my profile picture also desktop background also my phone lock screen! too much! yesh I know, soon it will end haha!

Landing on KK was such a disappointment due to the fact that few flights were delayed causing the terrible queue for immigration gahhh! Not only that, also so many uncivilised people that just cut queue haih! At that time I have no mood already, the monkey face below explains!

Also came out from KKIA, these beautiful sceneries slowly cool down my anger from gahhh to hmmm :)

Then reaching hotel Sixty3, recommend you to stay. The price is affordable come with awesome and comfy room also the friendly staff. Even Jen would go over Darryl (the night shift guy) to ask zillion questions for directions etc. He likes found long lost friend lolol! We booked one Family room for RM190nett per night (the girls) and the other one Standard room for RM140nett per night (the boys)!

They even customised their TV screen to welcome us! WiFi also available, you also can use the provided Macs in the lobby! Thumbs up for Hotel Sixty3. I had phobia in booking hotel cos the first hotel I booked in penang was terrible, it meant for those one night stand people! We checkout after 20 mins inside just to see around and took sad face pics! Lucky those didn't happen to this one, and Sixty3 totally exceeds my expectation! btw I don't receive any cents from them for this! I also not held liable if it does not turn out as what I said cos Its very subjective :) I'll let the picture explains and it does not fool you! :)

Our Family room

All the rooms come with umbrella, safety box, Iron board and Iron also recycle bag. Its so convenience and comfortable. The location is so strategic, located on Jalan Gaya itself. You just have to walk to all places you want, except some places that is too far away you need to take cab la!

The guys' Standard Room
It was about 3pm when we reached hotel, so we opt out to some kopitiam nearby for:

Prawn Curry Laksa
BBQ Chicken Rice

Then walked to Atkinson Clock Tower, being such a tourist that we had to take every angle of pics lolol!

On the way saw this batu nisan that created to reward Australians Armed forces that give their lives in defending Sabah during Second World War!

Then to the Pasar Besar Kota Kinabalu!

Moving to the Philippineo market to grab some souvenirs and snacks for friends etc. We had Coconut water as well and talk to strangers like nobody business! As though we found long lost friends again!

Walked another 10 more mins and we are in Waterfront to fool around! HAHA! On d way, most of the time, many people stared at us, to be exact on Sanyu la haha!

The Sky is getting darker
SO TIME FOR DINNER & definitely it should be SEAFOOD!!

After meal, we ended up sit down and chatted for few hours till 10plus I guess! It ended cos I couldn't stand  to be back at hotel and pee la! haha! promised them to continue the chat in the hotel, but I dropped after bath! but they continued while I was asleep la lol!
Since I was in Sabah, I slept so so early! totally not me, but it was good cos even I'm back in KL, my sleeping pattern is back exactly like what normal human being sleeping hours lolol!

Will continue another post with Day 2, 3 & 4 :)

Take care peeps!

making wanton as easy as ABC

On schedule

Making wanton can be as easy as piece of cake! Just get the wanton skin from supermarket which look like this. There are 2 types, round and square.

Then you just have to prepare meat mixtures like this using:
Minced pork (replace with chicken for halal eater) 300-500 grams
Spring onion
1 tsp of Pepper
1 tsp of Salt
1 Egg
2 tbsp of Corn Flour

Instructions: Mix the minced meat with pepper, salt and egg. Once its mixed add in the corn flour and stir it. Cut the spring onion into small round pieces and stir in. you are done with the fillings.

Then you just need a bowl of water to wrap the meat with the wanton skin together.

Thennn Tadahhhh

Nicely done, you can choose to deep fried as snacks.
Healthy tips: boil water and throw in for 5 mins or till the meat is cooked :)
