Capital café 華星冰室, HK

Since I'm in the mood of blogging, why not write more for drafts haha!

Apparently, this capital café appeared in NYtimes after I googled, whee!

I tried the ones located in Mong kok, had their most recommended menus :)

Toast w/ scrambled egg
Their scrambled egg is very famous cos it makes from Hokkaido milk, many HK restaurant uses Hokkaido milk, like in the article, the chef said it mostly depends on the chef skills, no matter what the ingredients are, TRUE!

Macaroni soup

Nissin noodles w/ tomato soup and pork chop

Black truffle toast
Overall, I find it average and the scrambled egg was slightly above average, the black truffle toast was kinda weird, but it was a good experience (also expensive ones haha!)

Ippudo, Paul Lafayet & Agnès b le pain grillé, HK

I guess its kind of a habit to apologise in the beginning of every post now and then after MIA-ing for months lolol! but
Aloha end of August, maybe the next post will be hello October hahaha!

Now I don't even know what to post about cos I updated most of it through my instagram hihi!

So everyone was raving bout this famous ramen shop on and on, like in spore and KL ( if I wasn't wrong), so I was curious. Back in HK, I met up with Candy, she wanted to try this ramen shop in Silvercord but didn't know the name, then I saw it and ahaaaks, its the one people raved about, queue for 5-10 mins and finally our turns...

I was totally melted for the eggs, if only I didn't keep some spaces in my stomach for my next stop (obviously its dessert), I would have ordered another 2-3 soft boiled eggs! darn! Overall, I don't know hows the one in Spore or KL, but HK's Ippudo was #OHSOGOOOD in comparison to other ramen shops that I visited recently!

Next stop, bought Paul Lafayet & Agnès b le pain grillé for desserts,
sit in city super cos it was quite late and most stores started to close...

Jasmine Lemon
Love it max, I usually don't take desserts which are too sweet or too sour, but this is perfect and its very unique taste, it has kinda chewy stuff inside like a jelly and really smooth =D

Hazelnut cake (should sound more glamorous :p)
Unfortunately this was too sweet for me (hazelnut cake usually meant to be very sweet, if you are not a fans of sweetness, please avoid ordering anything related to hazelnut). But it was very smooth!

Vanille
It's a millefeuille if I wasn't wrong, I wasn't into any millefeuille after I tasted few in Jakarta, but this one is #OHSOGOOOD, it has many layers and kind of solid compared to others and the fillings were just nice!

Melanie
Its something like brownie and top with cocoa powder with layers of choc too :)

Chloé
It has hazelnut on it (very obvious the nut is in the middle haha!)
Prefer this compared to Paul Lafayet's :)

Everything were good except, if you are a food lover, I recommend to put these stores in your list other than Pierre Hermé or Laduree (tbh, I don't like Laduree HK, cos of the tastes and services) haha!

Ciao, lies!
