Ipoh-licious

2 years ago, July 2010, I was in Ipoh to hunt for oh-so-delicious foods! Took the evening train and reached about 9pm. First meal was the most famous Lou Wong Bean Sprouts Chicken 

(Nga Choi Kai)

So far it serves the best one!

Didn't really had time to try all the foods cos we travel to another yummy town Penang-licious haha! Indeed we had so much one after another meal, unfortunately, too busy eating ended up with no pictures to share at all haha! but the white coffee is so yumm!

It's been there for many generations :)

I've been 2 times to IPOH this year. First was outstation job (Didn't get to enjoy much foods but I did eat at Lou Wong hehe!) then another one of cos for the delicious and drooling foods! :P

Beef Noodles

I stopped eating beef for some time yet I'm back to it.. Anyway I don really eat beef that often and I don like to eat steak that much :P but so far the best beef noodles I had still is Lebong, located in Medan, Indonesia :)

Mustard

Breakfast was Nga Choi Gai at some kopitiam also had satay and the mustard was the dessert :) Oh yeah, to let the foods to digest, I did a Temple Hopping and pray (feel very guai lol). 

 I was craving for brownies too, so went to this old shop, Beacon Point. Lots of high-class people went there for their dessert too :)

I hardly remember what I had for the dinner but probably Taro Japanese Buffet :) The salmon was so fresh!! I took the salmon so much, seriously worth to try if you are a salmon lover just like me! but other foods also good la not only the salmon hehe! It was so so good till I didn't take lots of pics, but I still remember to take a pic of myself la with huge tummy after dinner :p

The next morning, DIM SUM!!!Now, you can understand why I am so giant look alike as monster LOLOL! I tried another shop when I went there for job, it tasted very bad yet still have many customers zzz.. So this is a better one :) Also the must try one!! the Durian pancake so so so GOOD!!  but bear in mind the whole day u gonna burb like a durian haha!

 Then we took off to Chemor to buy those pretty fishes from the Fishes wholesaler but I didn't take pics of the fishes. Indeed I took pics of the rabbit while waiting, the owner rare rabbit and dogs as well (rabbit very cute but the dog ugly cos they din take care of it :(

 On the way home, drop by at this lady cendol, damn sedap!! Don't judge the lorry, but the cendol really really good. I had two times when I was there for the trip haha!

 Then dabao the nasi ganja also (I personally think it taste normal2 only but everyone would die for it, look at the queue, I think they siao but I also one of them). Actually I took the pic not intentionally to show you the queue, but cos of the auntie, her outfit damn weird from front lolol! but think positive that I'm showing you the crazy queue, that's infront of me, imagine behind me!! I so kiasu even though taste normal only but I still go for it, not always can eat mah haha! My own dabao pic not nice, lucky I took pic of some people's food while I was queuing to pay :p

Truth

A nice coasters always attract me to own it! haha! If you are in the restaurant business and have pretty coasters, then I would be the one who took it for my collection hahaha! Went to Bangkok Beat Bistro at Empire Shopping Mall, took 3 coasters of theirs heheh!

Oh yeah, if you understand Chinese, please please spend an hour to watch this video, it taught you to live life to the fullest and respect your life because there are many people out there having diseases and want to stay alive longer but they couldn't. yet if you are not one of them, please live your live to the fullest for the sake of yourself and others. "Are you willing to swap your life with theirs?".

PS: if you are soft-hearted, please prepare tissue and bin by your side :)

feelings

It's been so long that I'm in people's homeland that I neglected my own! I have the sudden urge to miss my own homeland and wish I can always see the beauty of it. It's the fact that I'm so used to the environment in Malaysia and it gives me the strange feeling whenever I'm home, but I'm gonna look up the awesome things in Indonesia and get back my feelings towards my motherland!

Another thing is I feel that everyone is too pretentious! Keeping the truth from a person and thinking that you are protecting them is actually hurting them! Tell me the truth even though it's hurting me and eventually I'll get over it! Knowing it later, feel ten thousand times worst!

a trip part I

During the journey, when you r just bored, just take out ur phone with those camera apps and took pics thru the glass window. It just simply awesome how it comes out :)
