Different Taste

My last night in Ipoh, I had the chance to eat the claypot crab noodles again, it was totally orgasmic

but I eat the noodles only though, cos it was that GOOD! haha!

My previous visit to ipoh, I went to Same Taste if I remember correctly. Funny how they named their shop but yeah, it was just simply unique. 

Totally a must eat food when you are in Ipoh especially the fish balls and claypot crab noodles :)

La Vanille Cupcakes and Macarons

So I was in Penang few days ago, some people may know I love certain desserts!

Then I googled bout pastry shops and there were few pastry shops and one of it that I got to visit was

La Vanille Cupcakes and Macarons

The Cupcakes and Macs were really good, I usually don't take Cupcakes yet I had 3 of them HAH!

Now you know how good it is, but the cakes were not good at all, epic failed!

I tried the Macs in the first day and apparently we happened to pass by the shop and decided to give the Cups a try, and it was satisfying! 

If any one of you happened to b in Penang, check this shop out but don't be greedy

Just have the Cups and Macs :)

Buku Tiga Lima

As promised in Instagram, I will blog bout Buku Tiga Lima. So here it is!

The cafe atmosphere is so vintage looking, really artsy except that the chairs were not so comfy.

Its a very nice place to chill, if you are tired from the hectic KL, hop into your car

and drive to Ipoh and visit this cafe, it has a really good ambience.

Not only Buku Tiga Lima, but it has another connecting shop, Burps and Giggles.

There are two different concepts and opening hours, so checked their website before going.

Buku Tiga Lima has Crepes (sweet and savoury), Bagels & Hot Spuds.

I was in a rush so I had my savoury crepe to takeaway, it was so yummy, really love it! lol!

Another one, Burps and Giggles, where I had no chance to visit but when I was there,

plenty of customer had their breakfast and it has a good review from bloggers too (I will visit when I go to Ipoh godknowswhen haha!)

Some people may have difficulties to locate the shop but it located directly behind Kong Heng :)

Negatively Positive

Lately, I have been so negatively positive (confused much? I have always been so positive according to people I talked too. I felt like it left me to a point that I’m being thrown from a rooftop of 99 floors, mainly because of finding a decent job for these three months and ended with nothing has hit me. Some jobs may come to some one easily cos of the connection they have, some may get it cos of the unfairness of understanding of different course, some may get it cos of their smart brain. Nothing is fair and square, but accepts it bitches!

and the fact of leaving this place where I have stayed for almost 9 years.

Being alone in another country is never easy yet I have survived even though my parents never came to visit me in those years, NOT EVEN ONCE, and I’m still strong, but I am broken into pieces these days, I am seriously too negative nowadays.

Yet, I am thankful to my parents’, for:

♥The LOVE which they have given me endlessly despite the little time I spent with them for every holiday in a year.

♥The hard earned money to support me financially

♥The patience to comfort me when I was sad, homesick, disappointed and inexplicable

♥The lessons to be wise and humble to everyone

Words will never be enough to describe my feeling to you, Mom N Dad, but what both of you have given me up to Today will always stay in my heart and it will always be remembered and I am looking forward to upcoming ones. 

Btw, I was actually tearing when I typed this post few hours ago.

Nevertheless, everything never comes easy, 

don’t take them for granted and appreciate what you always have!

Nosh, Bangsar

Let's skip some of HK post and back to reality for a while :)

I was overly crazy on Nosh desserts in Instagram last weeks. It was just so mouth watering, fcuking good, drooling now just thinking bout it fml! Let me show yout he Varlhona Heaven, I was once in hell but after this    I am seriously in heaven wtf!! The chocolate was so so so so nomnomnom! It was so smooth slurrp!

The Tiramisu is also yum, I started with Tiramisu but Varlhona Heaven overtook the taste so it was a win!

Haha sorry Tiramisu lol!

I started posting from dessert to main course wtf! but I didn't eat in that order though lol!

Beef Tartollini, it was okay, it somehow like a beef wrapped in wanton skin. hehe!

FYI, the weekday and weekend menu are different. 

Weekday menu: more choices on desserts and less on main course

There is no Varlhona Heaven in weekend menu (beware, don't come and blame me if you go on the weekend and can't find what you want)

Disneyland 2013, HK

Again, I'm lazy to edit pictures and upload one by one so I turn my Disneyland trip photos into a video or sort of a slide show with Mickey Mouse Hot Dog song lolol! 

Sorry lah.. that song stuck in my head, cos both of the kids kept watching Mickey Mouse but the song was in cantonese ( I prefer cantonese compared to english hehe!) I'm using english version for the video though..

Please enjoy the poor video haha!

To be honest, I'm not a fan of theme park so wasted the $$ just to experience what does Disneyland looked like lol! At least I know how does it feels to be in Disneyland :)

Affogato

This evening I tried Affogato for the first time (I know I'm so sakai, screwed it :p) it was damn absolutely good! OMFG, I am in love with it, especially the expresso. I love coffee and tea yet I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks. I know WTF right!! and dare to admit that I'm a coffee addicts lol! I love strong taste no matter its coffee or tea or liquor ( I hate beer though!). 

So I had my first Affogato at Haagen-dazs and will continue to hunt for a better and better ones haha! 

For those who doesn't know what is Affogato (ie.me). Here a short brief taken from some web :)

An affogato is a traditional Italian espresso-based treat, it consists of a scoop of ice cream/gelato with a shot of hot espresso poured over the top.

The first pictures was belong to me but the other two taken from web as well :) 

If you never try one, please go to the nearest coffee shop and get it. I had mine with Cookies N Cream!

Fcuking awesome, best treat for stress! :)

Hi-tea at the lobby, Peninsula HK

If you read my previous HK posts, of cos you know that I'm in love with Tai Hing crispy buns and milk tea hehe! but that we added french toast (too oily, not that nice though)

Apparently, The Peninsula is the most expensive hotel in HK, and their hi-tea, The Lobby is so famous and many people rave about it, despite the $$, we gave it a try! It wasn't worth the  money my cousin paid for. We find it nothing different from other bakery, other stores has so much nicer than this one. Maybe it was because of the venue that's people rave about it, not to mention the QUEUE!! my gowd, we queued for an hour plus and much for the disappointment in taste tsk tsk yet worth the experience lohh! But I still suggest you guys to give it a try if you want though hehe!

Another one, Laduree, for me the macaron taste so bloody sweet but its also very famous. I'm not sure whether the one in HK not up to the other branch standard or what. But I find it not good at all, eventhough the queue, the people who are willing to wait and bought so many boxes. Btw, I bought two pieces only just to know the taste lolol! and the person face turned different wtf!!

Road side junks still much better than the luxury junks lolol!

One of the famous place, Temple Street, but I didn't get anything, only to eat hehe!

First round, this hotpot rice, fcukin disappointed tasteless, but again so famous, deserve a try but failed haha!

It has 4-5 outlets in Temple Street, it shows how famous are they but not good :(
